YKAN supports the formulation and implementation of low-carbon development policies that take into account the principles of nature conservation, and are based on science in order to achieve harmony between humans and nature. In realizing this support, YKAN collaborates with government agencies at various levels, both at the central and regional levels.
As a science-based conservation organization, YKAN supports the government in achieving Indonesia’s low-carbon development goals and paying attention to the principles of nature conservation.

Central Government
YKAN cooperates with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, based on YKAN’s two main programs to support in achieving emission reduction goals.
Coooperation at the National Level
Cooperation with two main ministries, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and Peatlands and Mangrove Restoration Agency.

Regional Government
YKAN also cooperates with regional government at the provincial and district levels to ensure programs are aligned with the mission, vision and agenda of not just the central government, but also local governments.
