The Raja Ampat Islands, situated at the heart of the Coral Triangle, stand as the epicenter of global marine biodiversity. The fisheries resource potential in Raja Ampat represents a sector that warrants careful utilization, development, and management.

Since 2015, the women in the Embun Group, based in Limalas Village, Misool, Raja Ampat, have dedicated themselves to crafting processed seafood products, specifically shredded mackerel and bubara fish.
