Biography

The Raja Ampat Islands, situated at the heart of the Coral Triangle, stand as the epicenter of global marine biodiversity. The fisheries resource potential in Raja Ampat represents a sector that warrants careful utilization, development, and management.

Since 2015, the women in the Embun Group, based in Limalas Village, Misool, Raja Ampat, have dedicated themselves to crafting processed seafood products, specifically shredded mackerel and bubara fish. They use environmentally friendly fishing techniques and hygienically process their fish per standard food manufacturing procedures.

Presently, the shredded fish products from Kampung Limalas have successfully reached the market in Jakarta, significantly contributing to the improvement of the local community's economy.
