Biography
The Raja Ampat Islands, located in the heart of the Coral Triangle, are the center of the world's marine biodiversity. The potential of fisheries resources in Raja Ampat is a sector that needs to be utilized, developed and managed properly.
Since 2015, the Embun Group from Limalas Village, Misool, Raja Ampat has developed processed seafood products in the form of shredded mackerel and bubara fish. Using only environmentally friendly fishing gear, the shredded process applies standard hygienic food manufacturing procedures.
Currently, shredded fish products from Kampung Limalas have reached the market in Jakarta and the results are very helpful in improving the community's economy.
