Biography
Indah Astuti, also known as Tutut, joined the YKAN ITP program as a social forestry specialist in November 2023. A graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Mulawarman, she is dedicated to environmental conservation, forest management, and community empowerment.
Prior to joining YKAN ITP, Indah participated in the G to G FORCLIME FC program in Malinau and Berau counties, where she bolstered community forest management capabilities. Her experience includes visiting villages and regions that uphold local wisdom in maintaining forests, rivers, and natural resources while supporting community livelihoods.
Indah prioritizes collaboration in every role to generate positive, sustainable impacts on the environment and local communities. She believes that every small step in conservation is a worthy achievement.
